This is the start of Romans internet series The Curious Tapes that are going to be released monthly. What's the idea? Well, hard to outline - let's just say it's about his new songs. And his mates. And his show. And some stupid locals. And skating polar bears. And evil kids. And urban solitude. And a notebook..

NEW ALBUM

So 2010 it is! A year with lots in store, starting off with the brand new homepage.

Roman has been working on his new album, which is going to be finished soon. It brings together a lot of things, some that belong together and some that don't.
There's collaborations with producers such as Henning Schmitz (member of the band Kraftwerk) and Bertil Mark (who has worked with Thomas D., The Notwist etc.), Roman's band, which has become a major part of the recording process, as well as a string ensemble and guest vocalists such as Newcastle born Tom Ashforth.

Roman has also recently signed a sync deal with the gorgeous One Little Indian, a label that has artists such as Bjork, Emiliana Torrini, Sigur Ros and Paul McCartney on its roster and that has been an inspiration for many years. He will also continue to work with the Berlin-based label Karaoke Kalk Records.
